Short version: DailyPDFTask runs entirely in your browser. Your files are never uploaded to any server. We use trusted services like Google AdSense which may use cookies for ads and performance, but we do not store your documents.

1. Information We Collect

DailyPDFTask is a client-side only application. We do not collect, transmit, or store your files. All PDF conversion and editing happens locally in your browser using JavaScript.

The only data we may store is limited to browser-level preferences:

  • Theme preference (dark/light) — stored in localStorage as pctheme
  • Cookie consent status — stored in localStorage as pc_cookie_consent

These are stored locally on your device only and never transmitted anywhere.

Advertising Cookies

We use Google AdSense to display advertisements. Google may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites.

2. Files and Documents

Any files you upload to DailyPDFTask are processed entirely within your browser's memory. They are:

  • Never uploaded to any server
  • Never stored on disk by DailyPDFTask

  • Immediately discarded when you close or refresh the browser tab

You retain full ownership and control of your files at all times.

We use localStorage (not cookies) to persist your preferences. This data:

  • Never leaves your device
  • Is not accessible by our servers (we have none)
  • Can be cleared at any time via your browser settings
